Charlie is taking a (much needed) nap so I finally have a minute to write...
Charlie had his second round of shots on Monday. I was unable to go to the appointment because I wasn't feeling well so Tony took the morning off of work and took Charlie on his own. Tony came home from the appointment and raved about how Charlie did - he didn't cry! Even the doctor said he had never seen a baby get 3 shots and only let out a little peep. Yup, our little Charlie is quite a trooper. Tony had to go back to work on Monday after the appointment so it was just me and Charlie in the afternoon. I still was not feeling well so I was a little nervous that Charlie would be cranky. I fed him and put him down for his nap and he slept for a solid 3 hours (as did I). When he finally woke up he was all smiles...it was as if he didn't have any shots at all. Charlie now weighs 13lb, 13oz and is 24-1/2in. He just keeps getting bigger and bigger every second.
Tony is leaving this Sunday night for a work trip to Detroit. He will be gone all week so Charlie and I will be on our own during the day and then Auntie Brooke will be staying with us at night. I don't really need help at night but it is nice to have the company and to maybe get a little break in the evening to do things I might not have been able to do during the day. Charlie loves his Auntie Brooke so it will be nice for them to spend some time together too!
We tried to recreate the week old picture of Charlie (he is 3 months in the new picture)...so cute!
